Yes!

[mood: amused]
[music: Y Control - Yeah Yeah Yeahs]

HASH(0x8830a5c)

You're Prince Edward Island. You're a happy person, love life, and seldom complain. You're able to see the best in any situation. You do live a g-rated life and tend towards things mainstream. People like you, unless they're depressed.

Ahaha, that's great. PEI rules!!!! And it's all true...except I don't really tend towards mainstream things. I just like something if I like it, not because it's mainstream or whatever. But yeah. This makes me amused. Which is good when you're stormed in!!!
Actually I'm not stormed in anymore, and I'm going somewhere with my mom in an hour, so I'm just killing time by taking funny quizzes like this one. And rambling on like an idiot to my blog. Frig, I need to get out of the house.
Anyway, I hope everyone had a great Christmas and is having a lovely holiday. And if something's happening, like, say, something to do out of my house, pleeeaase let me know, guys!!

Scooter = fun

[mood: delighted]
[music: Endless Summer - Scooter]
[quote of the day: "Where is the bass drum?" -Scooter]
Scooter is this German techno band that we have tapes of, and it's soo funny to listen to. I don't know whether they're just not good at translating into English, or if they're just cheesily fantastic, but their songs have sayings like "Move your ez (ass)!" or "Summer is coming! Can you taste the sun?" Anyway, listening to Scooter is always a good time.
I finished my Christmas shopping today...finally! I always seem to leave it to the last minute, but it's not really my fault seeing as how I don't have a car, so I couldn't get into town to shop earlier this week. But it's done, that's all that matters.
Not much happening here. I saw The Incredibles on Saturday. It was really funny, and I had so much fun hanging out with Rachel and Josh. I just wish I would have been able to hang out with everyone else too, but seeing as how they didn't want to go to the same movie as us, and they didn't hang out with us at the mall, what can ya do? See, me and Rachel met everyone at the mall at 3 o'clock, and almost everyone had been there since 10, but we had thought they were getting there around 1 o'clock. So they were all done of their shopping, but we still had to do some. Josh went with us to Winners, and everyone else went to the food court to hang out and talk. And then they left us, so we didn't know where they were, until we found them. From what I could tell, they got bored with waiting for us, so they left. Oh well!
Anyways, I better go. Later.
2 days until Christmas!

turkducken

[mood: peppy]
[music: Believer - Chantal Kreviazuk]
[quote of the day: "Belligerent and numerous." -Morbo the newscaster (from Futurama), in response to Richard Nixon asking him how the family was]

4 odd things about our school dances:

4. The crappy-ass music (rap, rap, rap, country, more rap, etc.)
3. The strange things people find to wear from Froggie's
2. Having more fun trying to copy the stupid choreography on the videos than actually using your own dance moves
1. The number of people who come drunk, then leave early because "there's too many sober people here"

But actually, the dance was pretty fun. It was semi-formal, and I really like dressing up for dances for some odd reason, and Kayla did my hair. I love it when she does my hair, because she can actually do something with it. I can't do anything with my hair myself. And it's really fun when you're "with someone" because you don't have to worry about the whole slow dance thing. I only had to worry about all my dear friends laughing at me while I was slow dancing (thanks Kayla). Josh is really cool, though, I'm glad I went with him.
Today, we went for brunch with Dana and her boyfriend. He seemed really nice, and Dana seems so happy. It was really cute. Dana's leaving Tuesday to go home for Christmas, so then we bought her some pottery for her present. And we all (except Dana, obviously) had turkducken, which is turkey stuffed with chicken stuffed with duck. Sounds weird, but it was actually really really good. And there was awesome looking carrot cake which i couldn't have in case it got cross-contaminated (grrrr).
Anyways, I still have to do one more rough copy for cahier de composition, so I better get to that. Later days.

Consarnit!

[mood: unhappy]
[music: Christmas songs]

I was in a really good mood all day until about twenty minutes ago, when Brooke called and said she wants the computer back. I know it's her computer, but I don't want to give it up. I was going to offer to buy it from her, but I don't know if she'd sell it, and I don't know if I can afford to buy a computer, even a used one.
We have our own computer, but it's old and really crappy. I can't even check my e-mail on it, because our computer needs updates before it can even access the website. This is going to suck. I use the Windows for everything: research, e-mail, posting on this. Shitshitshitshitshit!
Guess I'll be going to the library a lot from now on.
