my last first day
[mood: ugh]
[music: You've Got A Friend - Carole King]
Okay, so here's the lowdown:
My bus is coming fifteen minutes earlier in the morning, meaning I have to get up earlier. Also, our bus ride is twenty minutes longer in the morning. And if today was any indication, the bus ride in the afternoon is now fifty minutes. And our bus is crowded. More crowded than before, I should say.
This semester, I have Chemistry, French, English, and Math.
Chemistry, I think will be fine. Mr. T is funny, and I've heard that he's a really good teacher. Plus, he said himself that he's not a hard marker, so hopefully, he's telling the truth...(fingers crossed!)
English, I'm not worried about either, because I've got some great people in my class, and Ms. N seems really nice.
And Math, I have Mr. C again, which makes me really happy.
French is going to suck. Hardcore.
There are going to be lots of presentations, which I hate, especially in french (because i'm always worried about my prononciation), and he's really strict about the whole talking french thing (which isn't a bad thing, since we are supposed to be in french immersion, but I'm just so out of practice with speaking french, it's going to be hard to get back into it). I'm not really sure what kind of teacher he is yet, like if he's one that I will be able to follow. I hope he's a good teacher, because I have him next semester, too, for Sociology.
But the good things, I can't forget the good things:
I got to see everybody that I haven't seen all summer, which is always really nice.
I got to slide around in my shoes on the newly waxed floors (fun!)
I got a blue locker, right across the hall from Rachel and Kayla, and really close to Sherry, Adam and Josh.
Three words: Chicken fried rice.

2 Comments:
but you make up for it with your loud hallway personality. Not.
